This Class is about learning the basics of Safely Shooting a handgun, and covering Concealed Carry Laws & Techniques in the State of Florida. The course is designed for students who have never held a gun, or students that haven't shot a pistol for a while and just need to refresh themselves with gun safety and the basics of shooting.
In this class we will go over the 4 major gun safety rules and then learn how to safely operate a pistol and check whether it is loaded or unloaded. Then we will learn how to properly hold a pistol, how to sight a pistol, proper and safe trigger control, how to aim a pistol, how to load magazines or load a revolver, explain about having a proper shooting stance and then you will fire your first shots.
I really enjoy teaching this class because I see students who come out to the range that are nervous when they get there, but after going though my training class they are happy and excited about what they have learned when they leave.
This class usually runs 3 to 4 hours long, and is located at an outdoor gun range, so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed toed shoes and maybe a hat. You might want to bring water or a beverage to keep yourself hydrated.
The certificate that you will be issued after completing this Class, satisfies Florida's Concealed Carry License requirements.

Advanced Handgun Class. $125.00
This class is designed for someone who has the basic knowledge of how to shoot handgun but needs more indepth training.
In this class we will briefly go over what was taught in the Basic Handgun course and then we start focusing in more detail on proper shooting techniques such as stance, pistol grip, eye dominance with sighting the pistol, and trigger control. We will shoot more rounds and shooting distances will vary out to 10 yards or so,
Please bring eye & hearing protection, your pistol, and 50 to 100 rounds of ammo. We will look at and discuss the different methods of carrying a concealed weapon, on body and off body.
This class will be about 2 to 3 hours long at an outdoor range, so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed toe shoes and a hat if you prefer. Please bring water or a beverage to stay hydrated.

Private One on One Instructor Training. $125.00
This class is for those who are comfortable with shooting but feel they need extra instructions on handling their pistol. It could be that a person has issues with eye dominance, struggling with having the proper grip, how to properly aim their pistol, haven't shot in a while and/or many other things. This class typically runs 1around 2 hours long, depending on the comfort level of the shooter. I will also discuss ways the student can safely practice dry firing exercises at home to maintain muscle memory.

Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals (USCCA)
This course will be for learning the Florida Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals with USCCA curriculum. It covers concealed carry, along with emphasis on Situational Awareness, Safety and the Legal Use of Force. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey. This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home or self-defense. Topics that will be covered in this class consist of, Self-Defense, Firarms Basics, Shooting Fundamentals, Gear and Gadgets, The Legal Use of Force, Violent Encounters and the Aftermath, Basic and Advansed Skills, Personal Safety, Handgun Safety, Handgun Fundamentals, Handgun Operation, Handgun Selections, and Physiological Reactions to Violent Encouters. As you can see this course covers a lot of good information and this course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety and nomenclature, and how it applies to home or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family's first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident. The class time for this course runs about 3 to 4 hours of in-class time and about 1 hour of range time. With this class you can schedule a time for me to come to your home for the information and presentation portion of the class and then you can meet me at the gun range to finish up with the shooting skills portion of the class, or we can do everything out at the gun range, if that works best for you. This class satifies Florida's requirements for applying for a Concealed Carry Lisense with the certificate that you receive.

Armed Security 4-hour Recertification - $115.00
This is for the G-License Armed Security Officers who need to do their yearly 4-hour mandintory recertification. This includes the 48 round shooting test and 25 question test that the state requires for certification.
Please bring 50 to 100 rounds of ammo, your pistol, at least 3 mags, gun belt and holster.
If you don't have a pistol, ammo, gun belt and or holster, I will furnish those items for you for an additional $25.00 cash, so that you can test, or If you just need ammo, I can furnish 9mm for $15.00 a box during the class.
This will be at an outdoor Gun Range, so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed toed shoes and maybe a hat. Please bring water, and snacks or a beverage, to stay hydrated.

Pre G - Armed Security Officer Handgun Training. $120.00
If you are a D - Unarmed Security Officer and looking to take the G- Armed Security Officer class but need Firearms training before you signup for a G - Class, then this course is for you.
In this 4 Hr. course you will learn about Firearm safety, how to manipulate the Firearm, how to properly grip, properly sight, a proper shooting stance, proper trigger control and then place shots on a target from 3yards out to 15 yards. Also, we will then learn how to safely and properly draw a pistol from your holster and safely reholster with proper trigger finger placement.
In this course a student would need to bring a pistol, gun belt, holster, Eye & hearing protection and 2 to 3 boxes of ammo of the caliber that they would use for taking the armed security officer class.
If you don't have a pistol and the equipment listed above then there will be an additional charge of $25.00 cash for me to furnish all these items for you to do this training course. This price includes 1 Box of 9mm ammo, additional aboxes, would be $15.00 a Box.

Once you have completed this course you would be able to signup for and take an Armed Security Officer G - class and have the knowledge and cofidence to hopefully pass the shooting portion of the test.

Armed Security G- Mandatory 8-hour Range Day. $125.00
This is for the Security Officer student who did 20 hrs of on-line training and now needs to do the 8 hrs of range day training to successfully complete their course. This 8hr range day class is mandantory from the state when applying for an Armed Security Officer G - license.
In this class you will learn more about Firearms Safety, proper firearm handling, such as gripping, sighting, trigger control, firearm malfunctions and how to engage your target. You will also learn about safely drawing from a holster and reholstering, and proper shooting stances. We will go through several shooting drills to help prepare you for your 48 round state test.
Please bring 150 to 200 rounds of ammo, your pistol, at least 3 mags, gun belt and holster.
If you don't have a pistol, ammo, gun belt and or holster, I will furnish those items for you, plus 3 Boxes of 9mm ammo, for an additional $60.00 cash, so that you can train and test. If you have a pistol and gear, but just need ammo, I can furnish 9mm for $15.00 a box during the class.
This will be at an outdoor range, so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed toed shoes and a hat. Please bring water, snacks or a beverage for yourself to stay hydrated and since it is an 8 hour class, you will probably want to bring something to snack on or eat for your lunch.
